* TORNADO WARNING FOR…
NORTHWESTERN MAHASKA COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL IOWA…
EASTERN JASPER COUNTY IN CENTRAL IOWA…
SOUTHWESTERN POWESHIEK COUNTY IN CENTRAL IOWA…

* UNTIL 945 PM CDT

* AT 909 PM CDT…A CONFIRMED TORNADO WAS LOCATED 4 MILES WEST OF
ROCK CREEK LAKE…OR 6 MILES NORTHEAST OF NEWTON…MOVING SOUTHEAST
AT 25 MPH.

HAZARD…DAMAGING TORNADO.

SOURCE…PUBLIC CONFIRMED TORNADO. AT 900 PM A TORNADO WAS
REPORTED 5 MILES NORTH OF NEWTON.

IMPACT…FLYING DEBRIS WILL BE DANGEROUS TO THOSE CAUGHT WITHOUT
SHELTER. MOBILE HOMES WILL BE DAMAGED OR DESTROYED.
DAMAGE TO ROOFS…WINDOWS AND VEHICLES WILL OCCUR. TREE
DAMAGE IS LIKELY.

THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 80 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 167 AND 187.
