Weather radar is very quiet across the area. However, we do note one isolated rain shower currently north of Findlay, in the Napoleon. Movement is very slow to the east.

TONIGHT’S WEATHER: The forecast for tonight features warm Summer-time temperatures. An area of thunderstorms is noted across Southern Lower Michigan at this hour. While most of the forecast models do not bring those thunderstorms down into the area, we will include 30 to 40 percent chances for showers and thunderstorms through the night. Low temperatures are forecast to drop into the middle and upper 60s.

A LOOK AT THE WEEKEND: This weekend, weather wise, will be feeling just like it should. Plenty of sunshine, along with very warm temperatures, and humid conditions are in the forecast. The best chances for showers and thunderstorms looks to be during the afternoon on Saturday. Sunday will offer drier weather, and plenty of sunshine. Temperatures through the weekend are forecast to reach into the upper 80s to near 90 during the day. Temperatures at night will only be falling back into the middle and upper 60s.

NEXT WEEK’S WEATHER: A few words will describe next week’s weather in the Findlay area, and all of Hancock County. Those words will be sunshine, warm temperatures, and thunderstorms. Temperatures through the forecast period are forecast to remain above seasonal averages.

The best chance for thunderstorms looks to be at mid-week (Wednesday & Thursday). A storm center is forecast to move across the Upper Great Lakes. A trailing cold front is forecast to move into the area. Both days will offer the best chances for potential severe weather. It is too early to know the exact nature of the severe weather threat. The cold front will be sweeping across the area by Friday. Sunshine, along with drier weather, will make a return for next weekend.

Have a good evening!
