Thunderstorms Tonight #Findlay #OHwx #Ohio

After a warm and humid day across the Findlay area and Hancock County, changes are on the way. Those changes will begin tonight. Here are the details…

SATELLITE CHECK: Cloud cover has been on the increase across the area from earlier this afternoon to right now. Extensive cloud cover is overhead across the entire area…

RADAR UPDATE: Rainfall currently this evening is beginning to move towards the Findlay. As long as we are ahead of the cold front tonight here in the local area, there will be chances for showers and thunderstorms. While widespread severe weather is not in the forecast, a warning or two is not out of the question either. The main severe weather hazard would be from damaging straight-line winds.

REMAINDER OF WORK WEEK: After the cold front passes through the Findlay area early Thursday morning, the weather is forecast to turn cooler and drier. Some of the forecast model guidance has indicated that at times during the mornings for the next seven days, low temperatures dropping back into the upper 40s and lower 50s is not out of the question. The next seven days overall across the area look to be dry. As we look towards next week, there will be a small chance for thunderstorms. Otherwise, it will be a nice taste of Fall across the area. That does not mean, however, that the Summer time warmth is complete.
