More Fall Like Weather on the Way

EVENING SATELLITE PICTURE: A much calmer satellite picture this Sunday Evening across the Findlay and Hancock County Area. That is in comparison to much of the earlier portion of this week.

RADAR CHECK: With the clear skies across the area this evening, there is a clear scan on weather radar as well. Skies look to remain mainly clear for the remainder of tonight. Current temperatures across the Findlay area are in the middle 80s. Temperatures are forecast to drop back into the middle and upper 60s before Sunrise on Labor Day.

LABOR DAY FORECAST: Just like this past weekend, the weather on Labor Day is shaping up to be very warm, along with humid conditions. Plenty of sunshine is in the forecast as well. High temperatures in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Monday Night is forecast to feature mostly clear to partly cloudy skies. It will be warm once again. Overnight low temperatures in the middle to upper 60s.

REMAINDER OF THE WORK WEEK: This latest blast of Summer time temperatures look to be coming to an end at midweek. A cold front is forecast to move across the area. That will bring chances for showers and thunderstorms Wednesday and Wednesday Night. As the cold front clears the area Wednesday Night, and into Thursday, an area of Fall like air will be moving on its way in.

Temperatures Tuesday and Wednesday are forecast to remain very warm. High temperatures both days are forecast to reach into the upper 80s and lower 90s. With the passage of the cold front Wednesday Night, and into early Thursday Morning, temperatures are forecast to drop back fifteen to twenty degrees. That will be especially true with a northerly component to wind starts to settle in.

Thursday and Friday are forecast to be dry, under partly cloudy skies. High temperatures are forecast to struggle just to climb into the lower and middle 70s. To put that in perspective, several nights the last week or so have featured low temperatures barely dropping below 70 degrees. Low temperatures Thursday and Friday Night are forecast to drop back into the middle and upper 40s. That will be a good time to turn off the air conditioning.

NEXT WEEKEND: The stretch of cool weather is forecast to continue into next weekend. Saturday and Sunday mornings look to feature low temperatures in the middle to upper 40s. High temperatures Saturday and Sunday are forecast to top out in the lower to middle 70s. Plenty of sunshine will be featured during the day, along with mainly clear skies during the night.

AGREEMENT: The forecast model data, along with the GFS Ensemble data shown here, do show agreement in the fact that the cool blast of air will be on its way in for the middle of next week. This particular blast of cooler air is forecast also to last into the next seven to ten days.
