Return to Fall Like Weather This Week


AFTERNOON SATELLITE VIEW: With the heating of the day across the Findlay and Hancock County Area, cumulus clouds have started to develop during the afternoon.


CURRENT RADAR VIEW: There is a clear radar scan across the area this Labor Day afternoon.

TONIGHT’S FORECAST : Clear skies and warm temperatures will once again be the main weather features. Calm to very light wind is in the forecast. Overnight low temperatures are forecast to drop back into the middle and upper 60s. Patchy fog is once again a possibility during the overnight and early morning hours Tuesday.

TUESDAY FORECAST : More sunshine, along with continued warm temperatures, will be the highlight of Tuesday’s Weather Forecast. High temperatures are forecast to top out one more time around 90 to 92 degrees. Mostly clear skies are in the forecast for Tuesday Night. An approaching cold front could bring in a shower or thunderstorm towards sunrise on Wednesday. Low temperatures are forecast to drop back into the middle and upper 60s.

REMAINDER OF THE WORK WEEK: Wednesday’s weather is looking rather stormy. A cold front is scheduled to move through the area. Heavy rainfall is a distinct possibility. While widespread severe weather is not in the forecast, some of the thunderstorms on Wednesday could easily feature gusty winds, excessive lightning, and torrential rainfall. High temperatures in the middle 80s.

The shower and thunderstorm chances will continue into Wednesday Night. The showers and thunderstorms should begin to fade away during the overnight. Low temperatures Wednesday Night are forecast to be cooler, in the lower to middle 60s. Drier weather is forecast to move in Thursday and Friday Night. The early forecast for Friday Night Football across the area looks to be dry, along with pleasant temperatures. High temperatures Thursday and Friday are forecast to climb into the middle 70s. Low temperatures Thursday and Friday Night are forecast to drop back into the lower and middle 50s.

UPCOMING WEEKEND AND MONDAY OF NEXT WEEK: Drier, and cooler, air will be on its way in for the weekend, and into the first portion of next week. There could be a few scattered showers this weekend as well. More sunshine is in the forecast, especially for Sunday, and into Monday of next week. High temperatures during this forecast period are forecast to top out in the middle 70s on average. Low temperatures are forecast to drop back into the lower and middle 50s during this particular forecast period.
