Stormy Night Ahead
CLOUDS AND STORMS MOVING IN : While much of today featured plenty of sunshine across the Findlay and Hancock County Area, cloud cover has been on in the increase. Also, showers and thunderstorms have been developing back near Chicago in the last one to two hours.
Those showers and thunderstorms are forecast to move towards the area during the overnight hours. Unlike the last two to three nights, low temperatures are forecast to be much warmer. Overnight low temperatures are forecast to drop back only into the middle and upper 60s.
TALE OF TWO DAYS : Saturday will continue to feature shower and thunderstorm chances as a cold front begins to move through the region. While widespread severe thunderstorm activity is not in the forecast, some of the thunderstorms will have the chance to become severe. Damaging straight-line winds right now is the main severe weather threat. High temperatures in the middle to upper 70s. Skies are forecast to clear beginning late Saturday, and through Saturday Night. Low temperatures in in the upper 40s to lower 50s.
Sunday, during the day, is forecast to feature plenty of sunshine. Mainly clear skies are in the forecast for Sunday Night. With a northerly component to the wind, high temperatures are forecast to only rise into the middle and upper 60s. Sunday Night will feature low temperatures in the middle to upper 40s.
NEXT WEEK : The forecast is simple for next week. Ample amounts of sunshine Monday through Friday. Also, mainly clear skies Monday Night through Thursday Night. High temperatures next week will mainly be in the 70s. Low temperatures will mainly be in the upper 40s to the middle 50s.
LONG RANGE : As per the raw forecast model data, the ensembles are in general agreement of the overall temperature pattern for the next week to ten days.
