Temperatures Cooling Down Some
EVENING SATELLITE : It is a very pleasant Thursday Evening across the Findlay and Hancock County Area. Skies have shown some increase in cloud cover through the evening. However, it is forecast to remain dry through the remainder of the night. Temperatures across the area are currently falling through the 60s. Low temperatures by sunrise on Friday are forecast to be down into the lower 50s.
FRIDAY WEATHER : The daytime hours on Friday will feature some increase in the high cloud cover. Temperatures will continue to be comfortable on Friday. High temperatures are forecast to reach into the middle and upper 70s. A continued increase in cloud cover is in the forecast for Friday Night. Low temperatures are forecast to drop back into the middle 50s.
WEEKEND : Plenty of clouds are in the forecast for much of the weekend. An area of low pressure to the south and east will bring chances for showers through the weekend. A thunderstorm or two can not be ruled out either. Temperatures are forecast to remain fairly mild as well. High temperatures Saturday and Sunday are forecast to top out in the middle to upper 70s. Low temperatures Saturday and Sunday Night are forecast to drop back into the middle 50s to around 60 degrees.
NEXT WEEK : A warming trend is in the forecast for the beginning of next week as the wind direction will continue from the south. A cold front, moving north to south, will be moving through the area at midweek. This cold front will offer the chance for showers and thunderstorms. By Wednesday and Thursday of next week, temperatures will cool back down to more seasonable levels. Normal temperatures this time of year in the Findlay area feature high temperatures in the upper 60s to lower 70s, along with the upper 40s for low temperatures.
ENSEMBLES : The long range ensembles are also indicating a trend towards cooler temperatures in the next seven to ten days across the area. In fact, the Global Forecast System (GFS) Ensembles are showing the potential for even cooler temperatures after ten days.
