Tranquil Weather Continues #NWOhioWx #OHwx
It is a very quiet, and seasonably cool, Thursday evening in Northwest Ohio. High pressure is in control. That is leading to clear skies across the region tonight. Just not much going on weather wise this evening.
Clear skies will continue through the remainder of tonight. While frost is possible, the growing season ended with last night’s widespread frost/freeze. There will be no more frost/freeze watches/warnings until Spring 2019 arrives. Low temperatures tonight are forecast to bottom out in the lower to middle 30s.
Friday will feature an increase in cloud cover. That will be the result of a low pressure area moving into the region. Showers are forecast to develop during the afternoon and early evening. Once the front passes, another blast of cold air moves in. High temperatures this weekend will have a hard time reaching into the lower and middle 50s. Chances are there on Sunday that much of Northwest Ohio may not get out of the 40s for high temperatures.
The forecast model data and ensembles continue to show strong indications of Fall weather to continue for at least the next seven to ten days. Fall colors should really begin to develop here in Northwest Ohio in the next one to two weeks.
