Showers On the Way #NWOhioWx #OHwx
High cloud cover beginning to move in this evening in Northwest Ohio. Temperatures beginning to fall back through the middle 40s. The Ottawa/Putnam County Airport is the cold spot currently at 37°. Dry weather will continue through the rest of tonight. Low temperatures are forecast to drop back into the 30s.
The cloud cover will continue to increase during the next 24 to 48 hours as a low pressure area moves in. It is currently producing rainfall across the central and southern plains. That rainfall will be making its way toward the region during the next couple of days.
By late Friday night and early Saturday morning, the showers are forecast to begin arriving in Northwest Ohio. As it stands right now a cool, shower filled weekend looks to be increasing likely. Showers will be remaining in the forecast through the start of next week.
Drier weather will return to the forecast for the middle portion of next week.
Looking at the extended forecast, temperatures will have an equal chance of being above or below normal. There will be multiple rain chances through the next seven to ten days as well.
