Skies are clearing out this evening across Northwest Ohio. There is still some snow cover shown here on the visible satellite over Southern Lower Michigan. A clean scan on weather radar is noted as well this hour. Temperatures are forecast to drop steadily tonight as the sky will remain mainly clear. Low temperatures are forecast to drop into the lower and middle teens before Sunrise on Saturday.

WARMING UP THIS WEEKEND: A push of warmer air will be making its move across Northwest Ohio this weekend, and into early next week. This weekend will be featuring temperatures that will be somewhat above normal. High temperatures in the middle 30s to lower 40s are possible by Sunday and Monday.

A surge of warm air is forecast to move into Northwest Ohio by Tuesday Morning/Afternoon. That will be in response to a deepening area of low pressure centered around the Chicago area. The warm temperatures should keep most of the precipitation in the form of rain. By Wednesday, most of the precipitation for the most part will transition to snow. It is too early to determine if any accumulation of the snow is possible. Stay tuned.

By the end of next week, high pressure will begin to move back into Northwest Ohio. That will provide quiet weather and much colder temperatures.

You can find us on Facebook at “Northwest Ohio Weather and Photography”. Stay tuned for updates through the weekend.
